When food vouchers are available, VetStar does distribute them from the South Plains Food Bank to military veterans, active duty, and their spouses. VetStar allows one food voucher per family a month.

VetStar does not share any personal/private information with any other entity outside of Starcare Specialty Health Systems unless proper releases are filled out by all parties.

No, VetStar is not part of the VA. VetStar does work closely with the VA and other local Veteran entities at times. However, no information is shared without the Veterans consent.

In order to serve Veterans in an expedient manner we request that Veterans provide a Form DD214, military ID, or a VA card. This will allow us to get basic services started, however, based on specific needs and certain grant requirements further documentation may be needed.

VetStar offers a number services for Veterans and their family members. Services can range from basic needs such as food boxes and bus passes to potential financial assistance with utilities and rent. VetStar can also potentially help within areas such as financial counseling, non-traditional counseling, traditional counseling, and volunteer opportunities.
